The TowBox V5 model adds 330 liters of extra space to your car. It gives you the space of a station wagon in a smaller car.
Practically no air resistance
TowBox has virtually no effect on air resistance. Thanks to the attachment at the rear of the car, you can reach your destination with lower fuel consumption compared to other transport solutions.

The TowBox is easy to install on the towbar, even by a single person.
The TowBox makes loading your car easy, whether you are filling the trunk or the box itself. The box slides backward, allowing the tailgate to open effortlessly.
Transport is effortless, as TowBox can be rolled like a suitcase thanks to the wheels on the bottom.

An economical transport solution
Aerodynamic
Extensive wind tunnel testing has demonstrated the aerodynamic benefits of the TowBox. Improved aerodynamics help to reduce fuel consumption.
Fuel
The additional fuel consumption measured with the Volkswagen Touran TDI model was only 6% with the TowBox, while the roof box increased consumption by 18%.
The TowBox significantly reduces additional fuel consumption compared to a roof box.
Example calculation: The distance from Helsinki to Rovaniemi is 1,050 km, and diesel costs €1.80/l. With a roof box, the fuel cost for this trip in a VW Touran TDI would be approximately €122.64, while with the TowBox, the corresponding cost would be €110.15. Your savings would therefore be €12.49.
Electricity
The Volvo C40 Recharge electric car was driven along the same route with three different combinations.
Without transport equipment, consumption was 19.2 kWh/100 km, with the TowBox it was 19.9 kWh, and with the roof box it was as high as 24.1 kWh.
The TowBox reduces additional consumption and significantly extends the range compared to the roof box.
